The Selsi Collaborative Process
Here is how we achieve results you cannot find in a department store.
Consultation & Sketches
1. The consultation is where the direction of the garment is established. You are welcome to come with ideas and inspiration, or not.
2. We develop a suite of sketches, source fabrics, and notions. All are presented for your review.
Pattern Development & Muslin Fitting
3. A custom pattern is created for your specific measurements and physique. From this we create a muslin sample of your garment.
4. We conduct a fitting of your garment in muslin so we can make alterations and changes directly on your body.
Dress Fitting & Delivery
5. The second and subsequent fittings are conducted in your final garment to make minor changes and finishing details. Typically we have 2 fittings in your final garment (including dress pick up).
