Hello, I'm Sydney Siagel!
The designer behind Selsi Couture.
After working in the fashion industry for nearly a decade, I officially opened Selsi Couture in February 2022, and it has been my dream realizing ever since. There is nothing I love more than designing dresses and getting to work with fabulous women!
As a Massachusetts native, I find inspiration in the richness of New England’s natural landscapes and changing seasons. I feel so lucky to live in such a vibrant and ever-changing corner of the world, and aim to bring that spirit to every piece I create.
In addition to designing, I am also passionate about reconnecting people to traditional dressmaking techniques and clothes that are artfully made to last. All of our clothing is made by hand, in Westwood, Massachusetts, using high quality materials and elevated crafting techniques.
When you work with me, we create a comfortable and joyful environment where we celebrate you and your distinct beauty. Every fabric selection, design element, and cut is made with you in mind. Couture is such a special process, I cannot wait to share it with you!

At Selsi Couture we create garments for every body. We believe in celebrating beauty of all shapes and sizes. We want all our clients to walk out of our fittings feeling confident and valued. Each person has unique beauty and we want to celebrate it!
Purchasing custom handmade garments from a local designer is a way greener option! Our dresses are built to last with quality materials. We do everything in house so it's not shipped all over the world. We are conscious of minimizing waste and only use the materials we need. We re-use materials whenever we can.
We are committed to providing you with an easy, enjoyable, and professional experience. We take pride in sharing our knowledge of fit, fabric, and garment making to deliver outstanding results. I promise you will turn heads and feel incredible in your Selsi gown.
